Adult Scholarships

The Community Foundation provides tuition assistance for adults working hard to obtain their degree or certificate.  Students are eligible to receive up to $3,000 in scholarships and may re-apply annually. Over 50 adult scholarships are awarded each year.

  • Community Impact Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY
-Resident of Elkhart County a minimum of four (4) years.
-Graduated high school or possesses a GED.
-Employed in Elkhart County or adjacent county for the past twelve (12) months.
-Plans to enroll full-time or part-time in an accredited undergraduate, technical, or certificate program within 100 miles of Elkhart County or online.

ELIGIBILITY
-Resident of Elkhart County a minimum of one (1) year.
-A current student at IUSB or IUSB-Elkhart OR
-Enrolling in traditional, non-traditional, full-time, part-time, or graduate studies at IUSB or IUSB-Elkhart.

ELIGIBILITY
-Resident of Elkhart County a minimum of one (1) year.
-A current student at Ivy Tech Community College OR
-Enrolling in traditional, non-traditional, full-time, or part-time studies at Ivy Tech Community College.

ELIGIBILITY
-Resident of Indiana and/or attending college in Indiana.
-Pursuing a major in ministry, missionary or education.
-Enrolling in traditional, non-traditional, full-time, part-time, or graduate studies.


Timeline
Only one application is needed to apply for all four adult scholarships.
January 1, 2018 Application available online.
March 1, 2018 Application deadline.
April 20, 2018 The Community Foundation will notify scholarship recipients.
July 15, 2018 The Community Foundation will mail checks to the colleges and universities.
