Registration is now open for our 13th annual Nonprofit Leadership Retreat! This complimentary 2-day retreat for executive directors will include interactive workshops, networking opportunities and free time to simply recharge. 

April 28: Scholarship Awards Brunch

Saturday, April 28, join the Community Foundation of Elkhart County in honoring the 2018 recipients of the Guy David Gundlach Memorial Scholarship, Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship and the INSPIRE Scholarship.

May 2: Estate Planning Council

Have your clients and company been monitoring the economic forecast for 2018? Do you project the risk of recession or the potential for positive growth? Join the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council on Wednesday, May 2 for lunch and an overview of the state of our country's economy. Representatives from 1st Source Bank will take a look at key economic indicators and provide their understanding of today's market.

May 8: Open House

May 15 & 17: New Grant Model Meetings

After an extensive review of our grant process, we are excited to rollout an improved grant model that simplifies and streamlines grantseekers ability to request grant dollars. Nonprofit staff and/or board members are invited to attend one of two informational meetings in the month of May. We will lay out the new grant model and prepare grantseekers for the expected launch on July 1, 2018.

June 16: Scholarship Appreciation Brunch

Join us for a morning event where scholarship recipients and donors meet! The 2018 Scholarship Appreciation Brunch is an opportunity for scholarship fundholders to meet the students they support and to learn how their generosity impacts lives locally. Additionally, scholarship recipients can engage with the gracious individual(s) who make their scholarship award possible.

July 11: Donor-Centered Fundraising

Join us for a morning with renowned author, researcher, and fundraising futurist, Penelope Burk. Penelope understands donors and what they want more deeply than any consultant in the fundraising industry.

September 6: Long Term Care

Annually, the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council offers a 3-hour continuing education credit opportunity for professional advisors. On September 6th, Rebecca Vaughan, Director of the Indiana Long Term Care Partnership Program at the Indiana Department of Insurance, will be presenting on Long Term Care.
